Happy Friday to all you amazing people. I hope it’s been a productive, week, and you have a nice, enjoyable weekend. Today, I wanted to talk about a few things floating around on the www that made me smile this week.
First up: the cutest little kitchen redo by Rita Joy of harbour breeze. Again, it’s amazing what a subtle difference a little paint and elbow grease can make…but the part that made me smile…one of our FOTMC finds over her oven. Love the colors she used in those frames! Be sure to click on over to read all about her amazing little transformation!
Jami’s (little girl’s) dress up party was a total hit. I love everything she did, from her dress garland to her garnish for those cupcakes. Adorable much? Not to mention, she makes me laugh. All the time. With stuff like awkward arms and hot pants. And that rocks my face off.
I spied this beautiful little hybrid piece created by the Speckled Dog, and I think you’ll love it, too. What ingenuity! I love how she was so completely inventive, and took two things you don’t usually consider alone…she’s a smart one, that gal.
Suzy of Pennies a Day was kind enough to drop me a line with her kitchen redo…showing us all, once again, what a huge difference a coat of paint can make! Be sure to click on over to see some more great shots.
When Helen of Fearless Fickler dropped me a line, telling me about how she decided to mix it up with our ruffle wreath, I begged her to send me some photos. Brillz, I say. And just in time for Halloween…
And last but not least, sweet reader Rachel sent in some beautiful photos of her daughter’s awesome new room, that she did using the basics of our loft how-t0. My favorite part, is how she adjusted it for their daughter’s own room. Perfection…and don’t you just love the little green rug underneath?
I hope you guys feel a little inspired just like I did! Happy Halloween weekend + TGIF!

I love all the redos. I love how the redo’s show you that you do not have to go out and buy granite and spend tens of thousands of dollars to make over your kitchen. More people can relate to that then to a kitchen you know you will never be able to afford. I love them both! Well done!
The bed is absolutely adorable.

These kitchen make overs are wonderful. I remember reading about the first one. I think it only coast her &179 for that remodel. Can you believe that? The little girls’ bed is so adorable.
